We were gung ho for Tobi being Kagami Uchiha, the son of Madara. He had motive and a backstory that we’d carefully come up with. We dismissed Obito partly because we liked how much of a good guy he’d been in life and because the timeline just didn’t work out well. Frankly, Obito as Tobi is like the worst choice ever. Obito was a good guy. Madara turned him(why would Madara want Obito ? Obito wasn’t even the best of the Uchihas. He was the runt, the weakling) and Obito accepted Madara’s dream because of Rin’s death at Kakashi’s hands. In true soap opera style, Obito did not stop to consider one thing: Kakashi didn’t hate Rin. Kakashi isn’t the type to blindly go around stabbing people.

I'm honestly disappointed with the ending of Naruto Shippuden. i believe the ending with Naruto and Hinata ending together, isn't and shouldn't be the right choice. Masashi Kishimoto in everything he has done with naruto part 1 and 2, mest up on that. i am not saying his master piece on naruto in general is wrong. I'm only saying i do and not only me, but also other people WHO AREN'T EVEN A NARUSAKU FAN believes (because common sense) Sakura should have ended with naruto because they had so much going on. That's it.

I can understand her crying in front of Sasuke, because she mostly had throughout the series when it came to him (nothing new) but when you reduce her back to a fangirl asking him if she can come with him last minute then you are stripping her the development she had throughout the series !
Also when Sasuke apologized I was so happy because Sakura deserves an apology.. but she asked ''what for ?'' even though she did say later ''you better be''. The fact that she had asked ''what for ?'' is degrading to her dignity. Did you forget what he put you through ?
What made me mad about Sakura's panel cleaning her house wasn't the fact that she was cleaning. It doesn't change that she's a legendary medic or a NEO SANNIN. But of all things she could be doing, why show that ? Throughout the series she was developped so she can stand beside her team, trained to be a medic and become powerful only to be put in a situation where she doesn't have to be. If you use the same scenario but instead of cleaning the house she was at home reading a scroll then it wouldn't leave a bad taste in some people's mouth. There is a difference between skills development and character development and some SasuSaku fans mix that to excuse the blatant marginalization and stereotyping of women in the last chapter.
Another insult to her character was the fact that Sasuke isn't home. Or even in the village for her or for their daughter. That's what made me mad. Wasn't she developped so she won't be left behind ? She was still left behind, and this time literally. Still waiting for Sasuke to come back to the village. All of this ruined her development. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH HER AND THE ENDING. She is my favorite character and how she was portrayed did her character injustice.''

So as mentioned above, I am a writer. So I totally understand the timing error. I used to rush through all my work. Once you set a pace for your work, it should stay consistent, which Naruto has.
Kishimoto set himself as a pretty slow pace to be honest. Battles/most scenes could have been sped up a little more and still have been epic. However, 15 years later, I'm sure we're all used to the slow pace. So, for 699 & 700, it all felt really rushed to me. Very uncharacteristic of the Naruto series.''

Last thing is that we are not making fun of housewife lifestyles. We are mad because Sakura is a fucking Kage level ninja and the number one medic in the Naruto universe and all she does is clean a house for a man who doesn't give a shit about her nor their daughter. That's just degrading Sakura's character and development.

If Kishimoto stayed true to the story that he has shown us for 15 years, NaruSaku would have been fucking canon and let me tell you something, NaruSaku is fucking canon for me and will always be. 1. Junko Takeuchi (voice of Naruto) said she never saw love between NaruHina or any indication that it would be canon. It took her by ‘surprise’ even though it’s cute. She supported Naruto’s love for Sakura in a past interview. Recently, she refused/declined to voice Boruto despite her BEGGING Kishimoto to let her voice Naruto’s son in 2012 when Road to Ninja came out. I would put my money on it that if it were NaruSaku or NaruSasu’s child, she would do it right away.
2. The movie is receiving bad reviews in Japan. Mainly because they were expecting a good action/shonen movie, but got a romance themed movie. You can go ahead and read the reviews on Yahoo JP. Plus, theater seats are not being filled.

''I did some research to see how many times in the manga Naruto and Hinata actually talked directly to each other, not just “Naruto-kun” or thoughts of him, but actually talking. The answer is out of 700 chapters and thousands of pages, Naruto and Hinata have interacted in a total of 15 chapters. 9 in part 1 and 6 in part 2.
Some of the pages only had one or two panels of interaction. So you expect me to believe that this was planned to be the endgame couple from the beginning ? She’s not even a main character, I could understand if she was around a lot more, if Naruto actually showed some interest in her beyond friendship. They’re supposed to be married and he didn’t even interact with her in the last chapter. The movie takes place 2 years after the war ended and he still didn’t return her feelings, and I guess something will happen in it that’ll make him like her I don’t know.
Anyway there you have it, this is literally the only few times in the manga Naruto actually talks to Hinata, 15 out of 700. In 15 chapters, but all 15 chapters don’t consist of them interacting the whole time. Do what you want with that info.''

''The worst part of it all, is that I really DID use to love SasuSaku. And I really did wish for it to become canon. All along reading Naruto during the years, I began to understand that SasuSaku was dead, and that it couldn't become canon because of the whole NaruSaku development. Sakura was becoming more close to Naruto and they were both searching for Sasuke in a never ending chase. I saw them growing more close to each other and even I, who hated NaruSaku, thought that NaruSaku would win over SasuSaku, because while Sasuke wasn't there for Sakura, Naruto WAS. I know I sound really confusing, being now a NaruSasu shipper, but yeah, I'm not blind. And I remember clearly that I wished Sakura wouldn't give up on Sasuke, I wished she would end up with him. But anyway, SasuSaku was cute and beautiful, when they were younger, and even in the first chapters of Shippuden I still thought it would be cute if Sasuke would just return after Itachi's death. But everything that happened until then just made the SasuSaku ship sink and I honestly believe it's in the bottom of the ocean now.

Naruto calling Sakura his girlfriend in front of his father so close to the end. Why would he do that if he truly didn't love her or lost his feelings for her ? The parallel between Sakura and Kushina is unnecessary because NaruSaku would not have been canon according to Kishimoto. And don't say for comedic relief because that is low for Naruto. The Naruto I know would never joke around with that ifhe was supposed to be with Hinata.
And you know what's funny ? She doesn't deny it either !
Another thing is Hinata falling flat on her face when trying to reach Naruto. She failed miserably to convey her feelings to Naruto but Sakura was the one who reached him. Hinata not reaching Naruto was significant. Why would Kishimoto do that in such a crucial moment ? Having Sakura be the one to support him instead of his future waifu Hinata ? I really don't understand why Kishimoto used these two literary devices (towards the end, mind you) in favor of NaruSaku when NaruHina was decided to be endgame ! Unless, he backed out last minute. As a writer, using parallels, foreshadowing and other literary devices is crucial and holds major significance. Or maybe I'm holding Kishimoto to too high of a standard ?

I think that making The Last all about NaruHina was a decision, made by Studio Pierrot because of Mizuki, and Kishimoto was like, forced to do it, (contract maybe ?) cause honestly I don’t think he intended to troll the fans with all the NaruSaku development.
The movie had NaruHina, okay, but why did they make the entire movie NaruHina ? Why are they putting down Sakura and highlighting Hinata ? There’s no reason to put her down, its possible to talk great about a character without trashing the other.
And if Kishi wanted NaruHina, then he would have already had an idea of how to make SasuSaku happen, but now he is still wondering how to get them married ! Plus, if NaruHina was in his head all this time, there is ABSOLUTELY NO FRIGGIN WAY that he could have forgotten to give their kids the Byakugan, like WTF ?
I would be happy if NaruHina happened with more development. Even Junko-san stated that she didn’t really see any development between them in the manga. I mean guys, come on, any reasonable mangaka would realize that they would lose a hell lot of fans if they mislead them..
